i just wanted to give a simple review of an artist i think deserves lots of hype over on the "west side."
her name is April Smith and performs with the Great Picture Show.
with a powerful voice that would knock most females vocalists out of the park, April Smith delivers a sultry persona and retro late 50s early 60s swinging flair.
her songs are catchy and quite stunning.
ps. the mercury lounge off of houston st is a kick ass venue.
