The rules're simple: each team of two starts with 10 cups, which get three beers spread out among 'em; every time the other team scores a PONG point, the game tells you to chug one cup during a 9-second onscreen break/countdown; if you miss downing it all in the allotted time, the game continues without a pause, forcing you to play through the dual distractions of continued boozing and your teammate slapping you for being unable to drink 1/3 of a beer in 9 seconds. There're also other one-off changeups: each time a team scores, the onscreen paddles shrink and the ball moves progressively faster; and in-bar play's done with an Atari-style joystick, housed in a 10x10x10in cube with a single button; the joystick doesn't work unless the button's pressed by your teammate, and each lost point requires you to swap button/joystick duty -- inviting a Keystone-Cops-plus-Keystone situation.
