An Icelandic Invasion... Sorta.

"EMILIANA I LOVE YOU!" is what i wanted to shout over and over again. but instead i kept it 'Hollywood' at the world famous Troubadour, and stood only a few feet away from my beloved with my best "i've seen better" face. ok. i'm half lying. it is true, i did not shout from the rooftops but you would have to be monster to not move to her rhythmic voice and beat. then again hollywood people are sort of scary... i'm losing focus.

Emiliana Torrini finally made her way from Iceland to our lovely sun soaked shores!!!

I had been eagerly anticipating her performance for years, and she definitely did not let me down!!

When Emiliana sings its as if she is whispering directly to you, a secret only the two of you share. hokey, but totally true.

i could go on and on... ill link you up to an LA Times review that goes into more detail. basically i love her and don't miss her when she comes back in the fall.
