According to an LA Times article dated April 21, 2009 Sir Paul (and the cure) cost Goldenvoice some chedddda. and by chedda I mean $$$.


Once the clock strikes 12:01 am, the charge is $1,000 per minute, said Indio police spokesman Ben Guiltron. He estimated that McCartney went "50-plus" minutes past the music curfew.

Apparently it was up to Goldenvoice to shut the music down but how do you stop a Beatle?!?

The same can not be said for The Cure who's set went 33 minutes past curfew and was eventually cut off even as the band continued to play.


Although these acts ran over Goldenvoice should be pretty proud of themselves as it ranks in the top 3 most attended Coachella Festivals in it's 10 year history.
